The Light of Life -P3 -“Evidence”
Greetings Saints around the world,
We are continuing our message series titled “The Light of Life.”
In Part 1, we saw that—from the universe to the womb—life begins with God’s light.
In Part 2, we explored the radiant light of Christ, its connection to His salvation and glory, and the Church’s priesthood calling to steward it.
Today, in Part 3, we will examine the evidence of Christ’s light—through signs, wonders, and the transforming love He produces, which all testify to His unseen reality and Kingdom.
As the present age draws to a close, the Lord has revealed that there will be an increase in the visible evidence of His light upon the earth—confirming salvations, Kingdom works, and heralding His return (Joel 2:28–32).
Introduction – What is evidence?
Evidence is any information, object, or outward sign that furnishes proof of the actuality or existence of something. It establishes truth and bears witness to reality.
In a court of law, evidence may take several forms, including:
- Testimony – statements given by witnesses
- Documentation – written records
- Objects – physical or material items
- Signs – visible indications of something
The Old Testament Pattern of Manna
When God instructed Moses to design the tabernacle, He commanded him to place a jar of manna before the Testimony inside the Ark of the Covenant (Exodus 16:33–34). This served as a tangible reminder for future generations of God’s miraculous power and provision—an object of evidence.
In the New Covenant, this shadow is fulfilled in Christ. Out of Him—the Ark of the New Covenant—comes the Word (the Testimony), which manifests tangible evidence in the natural world, just as the manna did for Israel. Today, we too are called to display genuine evidence of the Lord’s power that testifies of Christ to this generation and those to come.
What about Faith?
Many in both the world and the Church have misunderstood faith—defining it as “a firm belief in something for which there is no evidence.” But Scripture defines faith very differently:
“Faith is the evidence of things not seen.” — Hebrews 11:1
Therefore, genuine faith is not blind—it is evidence-based. It is both supported by evidence and helps produce it.
Faith often arises through one or more of the four forms of evidence listed earlier: testimony, documentation, objects, or signs. God uses these especially at the beginning of our spiritual journey to strengthen our belief for salvation.
Belief in God – First, God’s creation around us provides evidence of His nature and unseen eternal existence:
because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. – Romans 1:19 NASB20
For since the creation of the world His invisible [attributes, that is,] His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, being understood by what has been made, so that they are without excuse. – Romans 1:20 NASB20
Because of creation we have no excuse for not believing God exists.
Belief in Christ – Next, faith in Christ comes by hearing the Word of Christ (Romans 10:17). Paul summarized the true gospel that produces saving faith:
Now I make known to you, brothers [and sisters,] the gospel which I preached to you, which you also received, in which you also stand, by which you also are saved, if you hold firmly to the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain. – 1 Corinthians 15:2 NASB20
This gospel carries much evidence, including:
- Documented evidence — fulfillment of prophecy and Scripture:
For I handed down to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, – 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 NASB20
- Eyewitness testimony — over 500 witnesses saw the risen Christ, plus changed lives today:
and that He appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. After that He appeared to more than five hundred brothers [and sisters] at one time, most of whom remain until now, but some have fallen asleep; – 1 Corinthians 15:6 NASB20
Beyond sharing with just words or testimony, we also need the partnership of the Holy Spirit to confirm truth through conviction and power.
Now that we have seen that faith and evidence are not mutually exclusive, let’s actually see some. But first, let’s clarify what signs are and their purpose.
Signs and Wonders – Miraculous Evidence of Christ’s Light
Genuine signs and wonders illuminate Christ and give visible evidence of His reality and power. The early Church prayed for such manifestations to confirm the Word and draw people to faith (Acts 4:30).
The Holy Spirit produces them as He wills to bear witness to Christ, His messengers, and/or His messages. As it is written:
God also testifying (to His Word) with them, both by signs and wonders, and by various miracles and by gifts of the Holy Spirit according to His own will. – Hebrews 2:4 NASB20
Whatever is experienced in this present age is merely a taste or appetizer of the powers of the age to come:
and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, – Hebrews 6:5 NASB20
These divine displays of power often signal new beginnings—salvations, healings, ministries, or Kingdom initiatives. Wonders, such as the cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night, visibly manifest God’s presence and are often witnessed by many for the sake of testimony.
Throughout the years, I have been blessed to visibly see and experience both signs and wonders. Each coming within minutes or hours after His Word. In almost all cases, other eyewitnesses were also present.
Below are three examples—two personal and one of growing international significance—all supported by eyewitnesses and documented evidence.
To be clear, I am sharing these to point you to Christ and His light.
#1: The Dove of Light
This first actual sign of light I feel compelled to share occurred just recently while preparing for this very “Light of Life” message series.
During the early morning on September 9th, 2025 while spending time with the Father, an image of a dove came into my mind. I recorded this in my journal:
“The Dove. The Holy Spirit is God’s messenger. He brings you evidence of what you cannot see, and to show you things to come”

Later that evening during sunset as my wife was listening to a sermon, a Dove of Light suddenly appeared on her office wall—precisely when the speaker said the words “The Spirit.” She captured it in a live photo, and the light vanished minutes later. See video below (turn up your speakers):

Here is an additional photo showing the tail, wings, and beak of this “Dove of Light”:

The Lord was confirming His message and Word earlier that morning through a visible sign from the Spirit. Not just for us, but for you as His child reading this right now. He is seeking you and calling you to come up higher with Him and experience the wonder of His Kingdom realities for yourself.
The awesome, radiant, and glorious light of Christ is operating in increasing measure in the earth today as the day of the Lord draws nigh.
#2 – Crosses of Light
On the night of January 14, 1995, in a small apartment in Atlanta, Georgia, my father had just led my brother and me to Christ. Immediately, the presence of God filled the room and it began moving around us like static electricity. After others went to sleep, my brother and I stayed up to read Scripture and continue to seek the Lord together. The apartment was very small, so the only private place to go was the bathroom. Just before sunrise a voice came into my mind while we were reading together: “Get up and go look outside the bathroom window.”
Discerning God’s voice for the first time, I excitedly exclaimed, “Brother, I think God just spoke to me!” I then stood up and went to the window as the voice instructed.
My eyes beheld three large crosses of light emanating a brilliant light. Each were evenly spaced apart, and the one in the center was larger. They appeared to be fixed in the window.
Everyone in the house saw them that night. They remained until morning and never appeared again. Only the night we bowed our knees to Christ.
Below is an image depicting what we saw. Note this was not an actual photograph, as we did not possess a camera at that time.

Additional eyewitness testimonies:
Eyewitness #1 – My father: “years ago I was led to bring my youngest two boys to the Lord. They were gloriously saved in an upstairs bedroom in Morrow Georgia. They were so full of the spirit they couldn’t sleep that night so they got a Bible and stayed up in the bathroom until the early morning hours reading and worshiping God. Before daybreak they came to show me a miracle. On the bathroom window were three crosses. One cross in the middle and two on the back side. Lit up and shining bright! A confirmation from God about their salvation. Those crosses were never there again, but they were on that glorious early morning of their salvation. All glory to God!”
Eyewitness #2 – My brother: “I remember being overcome with feelings of joy and jubilation. It was a spiritual feeling that I had never experienced. The crosses of light that appeared through the window were confirmation of something transformative”.
The gospel, the Spirit of God’s presence, the Scriptures, God’s voice, and the supernatural visible display of three brilliant crosses of light – all testifying to the reality of this unseen King and His eternal Kingdom of light.
#3: Shroud of Turin – new evidence emerges
Since 1978, experts across more than 100 scientific disciplines have examined the Shroud of Turin, a 14-foot burial cloth bearing the faint image of a crucified man. Recent peer-reviewed research supports the Shroud’s first-century origin and confirms that the bloodstains align precisely with the Gospel accounts of Christ’s crucifixion.

The citations below are from this 2025 paper: The Shroud of Turin: An Overview of the Archaeological Scientific Studies
“Of particular interest are the reddish stains on the image which give the appearance of bloodstains and wounds and, more important, they agree with the texts of the Gospels about the crucifixion of Christ. In Table 1, the most important stains are described and the corresponding interpretations according to the Gospel accounts are provided.
Some other marks (not included in Table 1) that can be noticed on the Shroud image are the swollen cheekbones and other facial traumas which can be interpreted as bruises resulting from physical abuse [7]. Additionally, there are probably abrasions on the shoulders of the image which proponents of the Shroud’s authenticity believe are signs of Jesus carrying the cross. Again, these marks are consistent with the accounts in the Gospels [8].
Careful examination of the body image provides three noteworthy elements which, from a forensic point of view, offer support to the scenario that the Shroud was indeed used to wrap the body of a man who was whipped and crucified. First, the bloodstains attributed to scourging are found not only on the back of the body but also on the front, particularly the chest, arms, and legs.”
Further evidence, from just last month, came from a respected dental surgeon who discovered the presence of an image of lower teeth behind the lip. This suggests radiant energy, like X-rays, were emitted from the body and imprinted onto the cloth.

A 2025 study concludes that the image’s formation cannot be explained by any known technology or artistic process, suggesting it was created by a burst and release of energy, consistent with the light of life from the resurrection itself.
Love – The greatest evidence of Christ’s Light
Beyond miraculous signs, the greatest evidence of Christ’s reality is love.
When disciples truly begin loving each other, we collectively become witnesses who reveal Christ to the world without words:
“By this all [people] will know that you are My disciples: if you have love for one another.” – John 13:35 NASB20
For us to truly walk in the eternal light of the Lord, we must prioritize loving His people. This is not optional. It is a prerequisite and a command:
“I am giving you a new commandment, that you love one another; just as I have loved you, that you also love one another.” – John 13:34
Christ’s commands are “prescribed rule or authoritative charges”. They are His Kingdom orders while His teachings are Kingdom principles. Christ prioritizes His orders over His principles. He gave many principles, yet very few orders.
We cannot walk in hate and the light of Christ at the same time:
The one who says that he is in the Light and hates his brother [or sister] is in the darkness until now. – 1 John 2:9 NASB20
A Clarion Call
May we each continue to prioritize walking in the Light of Life, documenting and sharing evidence of Christ’s unseen reality—through faith, through signs and wonders as His Spirit wills, and above all, through loving His people well —as we await the coming resurrection and the glorious reign of our God.
In Part 4, Lord willing, we will explore this reigning light of God in the coming age.
